Many people, who are not familiar, tell lies about video games being bad for kids and teens. They say that video games are bad for children’s eyes, bad for their brain, and how no one can make a living out of this. According to many studies, many people made a successful life from playing video games. For example, tournaments that do with skill and perfect eyesight for fighting games or shooting games. This shows that this is living for your job like having money from winning or something like a title that could be great for you in the future. I believe there are many benefits for people who play video games.

One benefit is that video games can release stress. One reason why video games can release stress is when you’re having a bad day and have lots of work to do, you could play video games in order to let your anger out on a computer or person you have never met. Another reason why video games can release stress is when you have a lot of work and you’re stressed out from doing all this but then you know there’s much more work the next day. So what you should do is take a break and play some video games for a little to keep your mind calm. Another reason why video games can release stress is that when your family asks for help so many times and you’re stressed just from doing all this work for them. Then after that day, they keep asking, asking, asking and you just say you wanted a break. But you don’t know how to release stress then play video in order to be calm and have a healthy mindset and continue to help them out.

Another benefit is that video games can help with social skills. A reason why videogames can help with social skills is that it is a good way to start a conversation. This way you can become friends with that person and show them how to start a friendship. Another reason why video games can help with social skills is having to ask someone for something you want. For example, at the store, you get the thing you want but you are scared of saying something wrong. However, video games help you not be scared to ask or tell someone what you want. Another reason why video games can help with social skills is that you could ask someone for help. For example, in school, some students know the answer to a question but they are too afraid to say it and think that he is going to say something wrong. So with video games, he can talk to another person online and have someone to help him out and be confident.

Another benefit is that video games can improve your vision. One reason video games can improve your vision is you must find your targets.  When you are playing you have to use your eyesight and focus on a specific area. This constant activity helps develop attention. Another reason video games can improve your vision is how well the person sees. For example like it could be useful for eye-correction techniques for sports or any activities that use eyesight. Another reason video games can improve your vision is preparing for tournaments. If it’s something that you like that involves vision, video games help you find the object or the source that’s supposed to make you win, like football or baseball.

In conclusion, there are many benefits for people who play video games because there are helpful things coming from it and some life lessons. Although 44% of parents think that video games are bad for kids. As I demonstrated in my essay, video games could help out like release stress, social skills, and improve your vision because these things are used for your everyday life.  If something similar to covid 19 and you couldn’t go outside, then you could play video games. It could be great for kids and family members to last out the pandemic and have some fun.
